Missy is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia and a Masters of Science Degree in Nursing from
Old Dominion University.
She has worked as a registered nurse in various hospital departments since 1980 and became a Nurse Practitioner in 2004.
She has been providing care in the Family Practice setting until joining Gastroenterology, Ltd. in 2009.
She and her husband Tom, a middle school computer resource specialist, have a daughter and son. For leisure, she enjoys reading, knitting, gardening, and biking.
